CC Freak Jack
Does someone know how to play against Jack, the first CC freak? I am currently on CD 1, just defeated Ifrit. I already have the Steam-Achievement for playing 100 card games in Balamb (won 90 of them) - but the guy in the entrance room near the signpost only says that it is a honor to be challenged by the CC Freaks, but does not want to play against me.

Is there maybe a bug in the Steam version?

First guy is wearing a green jacket in the training room. Don't think there were any pre-requisites to challenging him

I'm not sure but I think you have to wait until CD 3 before you can start the quest

You can start the quest as soon as you get back to Balamb Garden and clear the monsters out.

You need to win 15 games actually in the garden. (might include Balamb itself) before you can challenge him.

The dude in the training centre is Joker. (holds the Leviathan card) and can be challenged after beating Jack.

Worked fine for me. So no idea if you have definitely won 15 games in the garden sorry.

Ah... so yeah... just reread your post.

No goes after the fire cavern sorry. Early disc 2 ^^
