How important/unimportant is it to draw new spells to maximum?
I never completed this game, the major thing that killed this game for me was the draw system. I always felt the need to sit there and max out every new spell I came across. I always wanted to replay this game though. I know how I am and my OCD will make it hard to skip spells... But my question, is it even important to draw all spells? Or will there eventually be a way to easily get spells later on?

I'd add that there are about 50 spells in the game, but your characters only have space for 32 different spells in their inventory. One character cannot hold all types. You can ditch some - if you have Firaga, for instance, you shouldn't also need Fire and/or Fira - and you can have different characters use different types. But it isn't important.

The final magic, Apocalypse, is only available to draw in the final battle anyway, so you aren't going to stock up on that one...

Or do you mean "stock 100 of that magic"? That has advantages if you're junctioning that magic, as the more you have the bigger the effect, but you can refine all magic except Float, Scan and the aforementioned Apocalypse. Some magic is harder to refine than others, of course. If you can get Triple from Odin, you'll get a massive boost without needing to refine some very rare items (unless you want to gather 200 dragon fins per character and convert those doubles to triples).
