EDIT: of course, 99% of the people who NEED to use it probably are installed there.
which i already did but still.
And when it comes to .exe's, not sure id trust someone posting links that only has FOUR games.
just sayin.
What amount of games one has on steam says absolutly zip nada nothing. how many games do you have on CD, DVD, Cardtridge? how many consoles do you have.............really, you trust someone by the amount of games he has in his/her list. mjah....... not smart.
But you make a good point which I should have mentioned in the original post
ALWAYS with every download from a "not trusted site or source" scan the file with your virus scanner BEFORE opening it. It is too large for virustotal, else I would have posted a VT report with it
besides, I did not make this for people that have no problem doing it themselves, I do it for the people that wait for SE to do it because they can't themselves for whatever reason.
I think the author made that .exe files to simplify the extract action. But if you don't trust him, you can do it manually.
Simply, download music files: {LINK REMOVED}http://db.tt/7uZGdnQd
Then, go to your Steam folder ... steamapps/common/FINAL FANTASY VII/data/music_ogg
And replace the files.

If you think Square Enix should do it for you (and for all customers who are unaware of this issue)

if you can simplify the process why would you not do so :)
He had made an music installer for the pc version however that one is useless for the new release, more info can be found at http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=10723.0
