Report a translation problem
Use manipulate on the cactuar and then cast 1,000 Needles on the person you're training and when you use the limit break on the cactuar, you'll have to use manipulate again. Also, you can make the cactuar cast 1,000 Needles as soon as the manipulate status wears off. Just cast it on the character when they're using their limit break, you don't lose a turn.
(For Mythril Cave, make sure you got Matra Magic on the Enemy Skil Materia or the Slash All Materia. Makes it a lot easier to kill them all at one time. Fury allows your limit bar to fill faster. It's also good to equip materia on the character you're trying to teach a new limit to with materia that decreases their HP when fighting cactuars, makes it go up faster the lower their max HP is.)
