Is there anyway to cancel the latest update?
I want to check performance before and after async compute has been applied

You mean running in DX11 and DX12 separately?

by using the beta version they made especially for you apparently lol.

you can use it to stay on the previous version.
As it mentions near the end of the patchnotes.

Uh, I guess I could try that too. But wanted to see old patch DX12 vs new patch DX12 with async.

You can roll back to older versions, use the Beta tab option :)

I just update the game, and now the game crashes everytime I go to bornfire.

I went to the Beta tab and selected patch 8. Its still updating. Even tried restarting steam.

Do I have to wait for the current one to complete, then roll back?

Ah yes if you were mid update it will need to complete that update :( sorry

yes, But you´ll have to do an update when you´re "rolling back" anyway. Because Steam will treat the roll back as a new update that just happens to remove some features.

Okay, whats the registry method of disabling Async compute?

Just info, so I've just rolled back to the previous version. And the game no longer crashes everytime I go to the bornfire.

Seems like there's something wrong with the new version.

FYI, in this previous version (not the latest just now), I still got that "cannot get pack because inventory full" thing.

Win7x64 with DX11

Same here. I guess I'll roll back for now, too.
