237 hours save file just corrupted, what are my options guys ? i

guys I love tekken and the customization behind it and also the online, my online ranked wins was close to 1300. I feel so pist but what can I do ? start from the beginning which sucks and takes allot of time, or is there a way to use someone else's safe file ?

thats fine but is there away to unlock all the items without the rediculous 2000 matches

sometimes it tells you that its corrupted but when you click on the option to not delete it its still intact. did you let the game reset it already?

beside of that, manual backups from now on. i do the same.
i am not sure if you can just use another safe file but i would give it a try.
ask someone you know if he can give one to you...just to be sure you dont get something which you might not want at the end from a stranger.

You could try to right -click the save file (or the folder it is in) and check Previous versions tab to see if windows has older version

I make manually backups of my save. ("users\<yourusername>\appdata\local\tekkengame\saved\")

does anyone know if you backup youre save via savegame manager (or some other way) you still keep all your ranks etc ?

I don't know about that but steam cloud works for that I guess, few weeks back I tried to delete all my saves and uninstall the game to see if I can start over and it didn't work. As soon as I installed the game again everything was back where I left.

Off-topic: I fought against your Xiaoyu the past day on quick match(me Asuka), lost once and then my game crashed to desktop on the second, just wanted to let you know I didn't quit. Nice Xiao man :)

go to your computer and look for a restore point.

Restore points can go from 1 day to 1 week ago

hy guys thnx for responses, i couldnt find anything that could help me from this hell, the only thing i could accept for now, was to start over.

But although the files were corrupted i tried to restart windows but it didnt help, eventually i saved the corrupted files for future purpose if someome might come with a sollution. And i read somewhere that its not possible to use someone else safe game, also tekken uses 2 different safe file; one is for online and the other is offline.

When everything was clear to me, meaning beyond saving, i had to reformat the save file for offline and again for the online. it was a process that had to happem ingame twice, for the offline save file and online.

i was lucky to unlock all the items without spending 2000 battles ^^ that was for me a reason to continue from the start. But if there is really no other way to safe a corrupted file then i will accept this tragedy ahah.

did reformating work ?, do your ranks still exist and how did it happen youre saves got corrupted ?
