[SPOILERS] About the ending
In my playthrough I saved everyone. But I didn't beat the ghosts with the radio. Insted I told them about Anna and the Sailer that remembered them (Can't remember the name lol). The Ghosts remembered their name and I think desided to move on. However I was still stick in time loop in end. Even though I let the ghost move on. What are your guys' thoughts?

PS: It was sad to see Jonas missing from the pictures.

I don't think I've seen a feasible explanation so far. I mean, even if you go the sacrificial way (sealing the tear and leaving Alex on the other side, theoretically doomed to share crew's fate) she still ends up on the ferry withother survivors.

If I were to make a guess here I'd say that since game relies heavily on the concept of eternal recurrence - according to which world as we know it will occur infinite amount of times albeit with slight changes - Alex's conciusness is simply moved to a different universe. This theory is somewhat underwhelming; I'd take a smart, logical explanation over pseudo-scifi bs any day but that's all I've got.

Exactly. The problem lies in the time loop. Why does it still continue after what appears to be the propper end? Ussually the best way to sort a problem is to remove its cause so I will give a few theories:

1. Maybe you have to chose the exacty correct actions. What I mean by that is you have to chose the precise actions that caused the time loop in the first place. One wrong dialog choice and you are still stick.
2. Maybe the Ghosts aren't causeing it. There where a few hits to this like: they saying it wasn't them causing it fully, the old lady that was on the island was investigating it earlier and that the Ghost could leave at anytime.
3. Maybe the game Developers simply didn't add another ending for Alex. I know it sounds stupid for such a good game but maybe they thought it was best for the game and/or it would take too much time.

But then again I haven't collected and read every letter, or lisened to every secret frequency, or deciphered every morse code so I dont know.

You know after you bring Michael back. All the pictures in the credits (except one) replace Jonas to Michael. That makes me think that we had our hole adventure with our brother rather than our step-brother(even though he isn't in the new timeline). And I really grew attached to him.

PS: I scared him with the chair...
Yes, personally, I feel it's the better ending to have Jonas than Micheal. Mike's a cool brother and all, but ressurecting him feels odd to the emotionally impact of the story (which has been more about dealing with death and loss rather than cheating it, hell the whole game revolves around dealing with the dead/death itself).

And on a side note, Micheal had a very holier than thou vibe about him, constantly condenscending Alex even though they were only a few years apart. Also, wasn't he considering leaving town with his gf who was still in high school and only a sophmore at the time and getting an apartment? Guy wasn't that mature to begin with. At least Jonas actually listened to Alex's concerns throughout the game.

Jeez, I didn't even notice that in the credits.
The ending I got had both Michael and Jonas in it however Micheal said that he was with Alex the whole time and Jonas was with Ren. While I did enjoy the game for the most part, I felt somewhat disappointed knowing that after everything they were all still stuck in a time loop. It just felt like the end was a bit of a cop out.

totally agree with this.
I got the same ending and wasn't sure if it was due to some mistakes i made. Like failing the ''Hang Man'' quiz and giving the wrong advice at one point to myself in the mirror. Enjoyed the game and the mystery but it rapped up a little too quickly once we got to the bomb shelter.

Not sure i will play it again but i'm really curious as to what happens if you make the deal with the ''ghosts'' round mid way in the game where they offer you a way out by sacrificing your friends.
I see people argue about what the "true" ending of this game is a lot, but maybe there just isn't one. The infinite loop happens regardless of your choices, so really the story never truly ends, it keeps repeating no matter what. It's sad to think about it but, well.

Also with the secret ending of having to do everything right, in my play through before going into the bomb shelter Ren told me "you haven't been acting like yourself" so maybe that's a clue that you can get a secret ending doing everything a certain way
"you haven't been acting like yourself"

I wonder if that's just meant to come across as a high five to the devs genius where we're meant to be blown away with ''well this isn't the first time i have looped in this timeline so of course the decisions will be different''. It just seems like a ''Booker your nose is bleeding'' incident

Did anyone get the ending where you are in the grocery shop parking lot before the ferry trip to the island earlier in the evening talking about the upcoming trip to the island? I did & Ren says let's play it by fate by deciding if we will continue to go to the island if there is someone talking on the radio or if there is music playing. I past the song on the radio back-and-forth on the dial until it ended and then Clarissa started talking from the com tower, which happens later on in the night. They did not remember Clarissa from the tower, played it off, & continued to the island. Even though there was talking they just decided to go on the trip anyway and then the credits ran & then the loop starts over. That extra scene before the game starts (I think) is triggered by when you use the radio by the car in town when it's lights are on. It triggers an event about the 4 people in the car that died which is spoken about in one of the anomalies. This event happens right before you get the radio with the extra dials that unlocks doors which is in the shop in town. My play-through's have changed where they or more aware of the previous loops. I think you might be able to get out of the loop through some secret but I'm not sure? Has anybody else got this scene?
Have this scene too, but due the Alex on radio told them not to go in cave they decide dont go at island at all.
Still that dont fix loop.
I will try to make them go on island but prepared for "ghosts".

Yeah, you can get out of the loop in this scene. What i did was when you get the choice to talk to yourself through the radio in the bomb shelter, i told myself to stay at home and not to go to the island no matter what, then i kept telling Ren and Jonas that i didnt pre-record the message, which caused them to say basically "Screw it, lets get pizza instead." And since Alex was the one who brought the radio, Nona and Clarissa wouldn't have been able to open the rift by themselves, thus braking the loop.
