Steam
So Steam sells a game which prooves not to be complete, and refuses to answer a question about the missing invisible ink in Day of the tentacle remaster. Thank you so much.

I mean do you go to Wal-Mart and hassle the person in the electronics department over bugs in games? So why is Steam going to know or be able to do anything? They're a store, not your primary point for game specific technical support.

Why not try the game's forums? Either there's already an answer there or someone can respond, or there will be a lot of unhappy people railing at the developer over invisible ink.

It can't be missing.
It's right next to the door where the suicide guy is. Check if you have given it to some other character accidentally.

I am semi-sure the remaster even has a highlight key.

Steam didn't make that game. So obviously, Steam cannot and should not have to answer any questions about what happens in that game.

Why not actually do a little google search? Youtube maybe? I mean... it's a ... what, 20+ year old game now, I'm positive that the facebook group I'm in for geezer gamers like myself would have plenty of experience with it. But... apparently the internet is too new for ya to look it up.

given the fact there are people that have the achievement for mixing that with the Boo-Boo remover and others that have mentioned trying to use it when asking for solutions to other puzzles I'm pretty sure it isn't missing from the game

Steam can't answer the question, because Steam isn't the developer of the game. You need to complain to the game devs, they are the ones who are responsible for the game.

Steam is merely a storefront and not responsible for the actual game content.

Besides, I think the best solution for you would be to use a walkthrough.
