You should make this a Guide for the "Guide" section of the hub as some people simply doesnt check the discussions.

Good call, done.
About time to find a guide.

Thanks for that, the software was so confusing without any guide.

Just sad it don't work with games that cannot be windowed.

Almost every game can be windowed, I've never seen one that can't. And we are adding a feature to force games into windows in the next version.

Ever played Bully: Scholarship Edition? There's a lot of games that cannot, and some that are supporting it sometimes need an annoying edit to do to play it windowed so forcing it from the soft could be nice!

Thank you for this.
The "Disabling In-App" instructions require too many steps.

What I expected:
1. Check the "Disable Steam Hook" option in the menu.
2. Either do nothing, or restart the app (through steam itself).
3. It should "just work".

In my opinion, if the app detects that "Disable Steam hook" is checked, and it is still connected to Steam; then the app should try to release the steam hook somehow (most likely by relaunching itself). That way, the user wouldn't need any workaround, it would "just work".

If you launch it through Steam, Steam is going to say In-App regardless, just like if you run a non-steam program through Steam, it will say in non-steam game. The only difference is Steam recognizes our program.

Disable
Close it out
Run it from the folder directly

Any way to disable it AFTER? Like if i forgot to disable it while i was running it from Steam and i cannot login in Steam then if i run it directly from the folder but still enable in app Steam, will it require me to run it via steam prior being able to use it without Steam?

If you cant login to steam its not going to matter if it says in-app or not. It will still function.

Nice. Well, i feel like buying and gifting a few copies of it when you'll add the forced borderless for games that cannot run windowed inside the software.

As many of my friends are interested into this specific feature too.
Great program. I didn't know I needed it until I tried it, and now I can't live without it.

I'm still doing some experimenting and getting it all setup with my system, but so far it has been amazingly useful/helpful. I have a main monitor at my desk (144hz 1920x1080), and 27" TV (60hz) viewed from a sim cockpit race setup, and an Oculus DK1 (1200x800 60hz). Windows sometimes does not play nicely with all these different settings - especially since some games need to be in extended and others cloned. BG has eleminated soooo many issues!! Thank you!

I do have a few questions.

1. Can I point BG at my Steam library and have it load all games automatically? Or do I need to (as I am now) run the game, switch options to a 1920x1080 window, alt-tab to BG, and choose to autorun the game in future?

2. If an older game is locked at 1024x768 (for example), and I run it with BG, it removes the border but doesn't make it full screen. I have a borderless 1024 game floating on my desktop. Hitting alt-enter will make it full screen, but that will make it 'true' full screen (I believe). Can I make force BG to make my borderless window version full screen? Hopefully that makes some type of sense.

Thanks for the remove "in-app" advice here. I've only had BG for a few days and opted to get it from your website and not Steam because of this. I didn't want to be limited to just Steam games (or at least having to have Steam running for it work.

If it's not hooked to Steam, can it run when Windows starts?

Thanks!

Yes if its not hooked to steam you can run it at windows start.

I will add game auto run for the Steam version once we fix some more techincal issues.

Hey,

Great app, I was just wondering if there was a way to resize or make the window size different?

Thanks
