The Ultimate Suggestion Thread
Alrighty folks, you've been suggesting lots of stuff since the game launched, and we've been listening!

We decided to make a thread to merge all of the suggestions and act as a place for new suggestions moving forward. I'll be working toward merging suggestions for a little while, so don't fret if yours isn't in here yet.

Let us know what features, blocks, characters, levels, etc. you'd like and put your ideas here :)

Suggestion: Timer in Party-Mode (Optional Setting)
I´d like to suggest a timer in Party-Mode while placing new objects. Maybe a fixed timer with 30 sec,or something like a timer after the first player placed the object. The reasoning behind this is to avoid a situation where 2 or more players dont want to place there object because the other players might "ruin" it.

It's a good idea! We will definitely do that if we ever put online matchmaking, but we'll see about if we do it before.

Steam WorkShop for Ultimate Chicken Horse.
Asking if this would be a thing that people are able to create content stuff for the game. (characters, misc, maps, ect.)
I would like and I'm sure more people would love to have a Steam WorkShop added to the game once it's finished.

For example I would like to draw/create minecraft characters for the game.
And perhaps create a map that looks like the minecraft game, who knows? ^^

But this is just a my thoughts.
I would like to see your opinion about this.
Would you like to have a Steam WorkShop for Ultimate Chicken Horse?

We are interested in adding Steam Workshop functionality to the game. We are very interested in hearing what type of things people would like to be able to do in an Ultimate Chicken Horse Workshop.

I would be all over workshop for this game!
I think a close example of how it could be done is the duck game workshop. That community is still thriving because of the map editior and being able to make hats etc.

Although im not too sure how a map editior could be implemented for this game. Maybe just let people upload a background image and use inventory items as box colliders?
However its done it would definitely prolong the life time of the game.

That is great to hear that you developers are thinking about adding it. ^^
Thank you for reading this.

I myself probably wouldn't use hats in this game, but even so, hats, extra maps and stuff to place would probably extend the longevity of the game.

@Blindshot the level editor could work much in the way it does now, but with larger set pieces available and the ability to place the start box and the flag at the end. Of course, none of this is confirmed but we've been thinking along those lines.

The character creation aspect is a tricky one because all of our characters are hand animated, and involve over 100 frames of animation. Unless someone feels like drawing their character 100 times, it might be difficult. We'll discuss all of these things once the online is out of Beta and we'll keep you updated :)

Doesn't seems to be a problem for me.
I knew that the characters needs to be animated if I do create it.
and I'm totally fine in drawing them all out ^^
Just, I need reference thou for knowing how the poses are. ;)

Character Ideas/ Level ideas
Ok so while you are all unlocking the levels and stuff there should be more because once you have unlocked all of them(like I have) it gets a little boring. So I think that we should have interactive levels like a park where there are people walking and you have to jump from tree to tree and if you fall u can still get up but a person might kill you from them running. There should also be a few more creatures such as
Bird(can double jump to get a since of flying but can't go up very high)
Bat?
Dog(doge perfirably)
Or maybe even have different skins for the animails for the third slot on the character customizer. If anyone has any ideas that they want to share pls comment.

New Character Suggestion
I really think there should be an Otter character in this game!
spiro_sea Jun 26, 2016 @ 11:51am
Agreed, bring us an Otter. I'd also welcome a badger or a mouse
Salty Pineapple Jun 26, 2016 @ 12:40pm
I think the squirrel is pretty close to a mouse. But a badger or something like that would be cool!
