Smite ruined by AFK and intentional feeding

SMITE is such an amazing game yet 90% of players don't use any team work when playing arena or any game mode. Please make it so that players can only play arena(PVP) past the level of 15 overall on your account. So many players should be playing arena vs AI until they figure out how to play the game and learn the god.

95% of the time players don't even speak English or don't know how to use in game voice commands. In the last 45 matches of playing Arena (PVP) I have had 2 players who use voice commands or know what they are doing.

So many people say its their right to jump into PVP and not know how to play but that's plain ignorance. Training and vs AI are there for a reason and that is for new players.

I don't mind dying in the game and I don't mind losing matches. So many players go afk for the whole match and the other half intentionally feed. I had to take a 2 week break from the game due to sheer frustration.

Forcing players to play training and vs AI until they hit level 15 overall (Your Account level) will help the game so much.

Please give your thoughts on this, also to anyone who is going to troll me please just save your breath. This post is only to try to make the game more enjoyable for the players who actually play the game properly.

The problem with forcing people to play against the bots is, the bots are pretty much stupid and not giving the new players the experience of going up against players. So when it comes time to play a live match, those players who only play against bots are screwed. I do think there should be a level lock, that anyone who is under level 15 plays with those groups of players so they get a better idea of the game. As for the intentional feeding and afk that is still going to be an issue, but since Titanforge (hi-rez) are starting to get more strict on their punishments that may help a little but only time will tell.

Playing with AI for 15 levels would be so boring, who would stick around for that? Once you play for a bit you won't be matched with people below that anyway.

Every time I play with a new god I always play vs AI until I get god mastery level 1. I am not an ignorant player who likes ruining the gaming experience for others. On medium diff AI is still a bit of a challenge as well. So your whole statement about being boring for the first 15 level is very invalid.

Well that's subjective. The AI is still dumb and I'd say for most people it would be way to easy once you get a basic grasp on the game.

Then how about not being able to play PVP until you are mastery level 1 with a god. So you can only play vs AI until you hit master level one. You can only use those level 1+ characters for PVP.

We have to figure out a way so that people aren't jumping into pvp with a god they have never played before.

While I think it's good idea to try a new god out in something like jungle practice, I don't think it will make a big difference. And again that would screw over new players, you'd have only a handful gods to play and god forbid someone takes the ones you have mastered.

This mastery system is in ranked but a mastery is very little indication how well a person knows a god, just that they played a handful of games with it.

Again, once you reach a higher level I really don't find this to be a problem.

25 is pretty low. So it will get generally better and you should get matched with people of similar level. And something like a 10+ level difference will mean less in higher levels where it's very noticeable in the lower ones.

lmao dont worry, im lvl 119 and its the same sht, like yesterday i saw this rambo ganesha 1/13/x on assault and then in the next match a janus who managed to achieve 3/2/x in a 40 min match!!! how? staying behind the towers all the time and running away from battles,

And this is why Smite is ♥♥♥♥. You have these idiots who think wasting the rest of their team's time is no big deal because "it's just casual, bro."
Hey, guess what? You're playing Smite, the worst popular MOBA even behind Heroes of the Storm. No one gives a ♥♥♥♥ about ranked in Smite either. Just play like other people want to win and stop being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I average a having to report at least 1 person for every 3 matches.

The amount of trolls, AFK, and garbage people are by far more than I experienced in DOTA 2 or Paragon.

Because cross play. Consoles suck so much at Smite that it has just totally destroyed it. Who wants to play with a Switch controller on their team much less an Xbox one. It's horrible.

I mean the reasoning behind it is alright but if you limit it like that then you wont have any new players.....most people dont want to play against bots in a MOBA. Aside from that its like any MMO game where you're going to get a wide range of people playing it. If you don't want that problem then play in parties that you know are going to be decent, thats really the best way to resolve the issue.
