With Or Without Gifted: Which Do You Prefer?
Gifted is said to be the best trait because it gives you more stat points at the cost of reducing your skills and the skill levels you get per level up. It's also supposed to make the game easier because it reduces the challenge of balancing your SPECIAL and allows you to max most of your stats by the end of the game.

Currently, I'm playing a sniper that does not take Gifted. Instead, I took Good Natured. In my opinion, I prefer playing without Gifted because you don't start with lower skills. With Good Natured, Speech and Barter start off higher, meaning I get cheaper goods form merchants. I also like having to balance my stats.

Which do you prefer? Playing with or without Gifted?

Gifted is a no-brainer in fallout 1, so I always play with it.

I mean it's like playing on easy mode but without the hassle (and embarrassment) of putting the game on the actual easy mode...

If it's your first time it's mandatory though.

Attributes are more important than skills. You won't raise your attributes that easily. On the other hand, when almost every bulid on the Internet is based on gifted, it is no longer something special.
I think Fallout 1 is easy enough, even on hard, that you can beat it without it.
