Reforged Eden story: New POI Derelict Station: The Infected

Hello all,

Can anyone post a video on the 3rd part of the infected chain or at least offer up some information if you completed this mission?

The very last section and room before entry to the console did not work. I'll explain.

You kill a boat load of spiders and scorp’s. Destroy egg sacks. Kill everything that spawns.

6 switched on either side of room pulled in pairs.

The last 2 switched in back corners of room. The one on the left was activated. The one on the right was not lit up and could not switch it.

Mission failure since I could not open the glass door that I could look through and see the last console to get the logs for the quest.

Any Idea what happened? I have not found any videos on this POI. I spent about 10 hours on this, I am sad to say. Any help?

I may have to fix this. I'll look into it tonight please keep an eye on the workshop.

That POI is tough. Good job on the layout. The last couple section or a real bear!!

Pretty sure I know exactly what's wrong. I made a boo boo and forgot to fix that poi sorry! As a workaround you can use gm iv (God mode invisible), look at the switch, hit p to open the control panel, manually turn it on, then leave god mode and flip the switch to continue.

The scenario has been updated, though you will still have to do the above or wipe the playfield to progress through it still. See the update notes on the workshop.

Well, it's over a month since this thread was started and, of course, the final door in the room with the switched in Infected: Derelict Station does not open. For those of us on a server and not admin - there is no god mode for us. Likewise, playing multiple players and the quirks of irritating long reloads, drag on graphics making gun play and smooth aiming impossible. It's better in single player mode and so on - PLUS this game resets POIs every 24 hours makes it the third time we tried to finish this very long.... and now that we made it the door doesn't open. It's a great scenario and too difficulty for close combat (intel I7, Nvid GTX750, 32GB ram). It's too much work to try it again.

I have not been able to reproduce the issue either in single player or on a server after my initial fixes. Doing the poi the first time and after regenerating works fine.
I have a few more things I can try but I have no idea if they will work.

At least there was a way to complete the mission, but without the log. The derelict station is quite a work of art.

Does anyone know if this bug has actually been fixed? I'm playing on a HWS server, I did the whole mission and I can't open the door either. Even after turning on all the switches. I cannot use a GOD command because the server is public.
Any tips? Thanks.

No tips I'm afraid. Will just have to wait for my next update to see if that maybe fixes the issue.

I think the that the door itself should just be changed so that it takes damage. Just like the metal grates do. This way IF the switches don't work you can blow up the door.
That is a super long mission. To not be able to finish it is a tough pill to swallow. I have not been back since I 1st posted because of that. My run was not on a solo or personal server so I was stuck and BAKED.

If people will continue to want to run that Great POI then I strongly recommend this simple workaround or people will avoid it. That would be sad.

That won't fix it because the boss still won't spawn, and would allow people to just exploit it by bypassing the entire boss fight.
You'll just have to wait to see if one of my possible fixes works.

ANY ETA on a fix? three of us running this 2x now to try and progress our mission. Can't open the door especially if someone came through previously. Were not admins and were not on a server we can GM or spawn or reset can we get an actual work around that works?
