Not to be rude, but that would be common sense.

But I'm sure it's a good tip for people who don't have a clue what dsr actually does.

nothing rude in that but the crap is set as default at x4 on many nvidia gpu , many are clueless about it .

gain 70 fps on ultra in multiplayers server (running 140 fps now ultra),

is super good (well for me)

But it's disabled by default by NVidia. Somebody has to actually voluntarily turn it on for it to cause issues.

Dynamic Super Resolution is a program from Nvidea to try and improve graphics on some systems for Some games, I dont think Empyrion is on that accepted list yet.

There will be alot of people that dont realize this is an issue in Empyrion, and it could be one of the things causing alot of unsuspecting players frame rate losses, so Ive deleted a few posts to clean up the thread, theres no harm in trying to help other players and Peanottoaster has posted to help others here.

Theres likely people that have used this feature in other games and just not realised its sill on for Empyrion, causing issues.

Im not sure, but maybe some games designed to use it can turn it on also ?
I dont have much experience in using it, tested it out a couple of times is all.

Its about time.. Alpha and beta Games.. Support hight end systems... If you ask me.
I have a 2500USD PC... but have problerms with a lot of this small games.. Its like the game grafic engine is to slow to handle the game settings.. and It make me sad every time i cant runn it on max! settings.. As this is why I have the PC i have.

Turn all settings on ultra or what the devoloper call the setting. and then the qustion. why do not the game run smood 60Fps. When you have the best PC gear you can get.

I my mind. I will not turn anything off!! I want it all on! thats why I payd for a good PC.
Make a grafc engine in game that can handle the data transfare to use best settings and support good grafic cards.

mostly the fault of Nvidia by releasing crap we dont need , even a 1080 ti will strugle with DSR factor ON and etc etc .dont need that crap mostly in 1080 res

Thank you, I learned something today. Can someone tell me a popular game where this particular setting is recommended to be turned on?

unless you want to turn your 1080 monitor into a 1440P resolution , is useless

Any game that you want smoother looking graphics in, if your gpu can handle it.

I am not finding an option to turn it "off". I only have options to run it 1.2x all the way up to 4x...but I do not see an option for off. Nvidia 1060 6GB

I don't get it. Turning of DSR improves your FPS if you're running at your desktop resolution? I mean I get it if you increase your resolution via DSR, of course that would lower your FPS, but why would just turning that off affect anything?
