VIRTUAL DESKTOP PASTE URL, SLOW DOWNLOAD
Hi everyone
My download speed in 360º videos with Virtual desktop is very slow, several hours to download a video.

I have tried all beta versions and normal , the result is the same
.

Any solution to my problem?

For me, clicking cancel and retrying sometimes speeds things up. Its out of my control unfortunately

Yes, I have used that little trick, but after a new installation it does not work, now the downloads take hours.

Google is throttling download speeds, not sure if YouTube-DL will implement a fix but it’s being looked into: https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/pull/30184

Thanks for the info.

Also another thing i just noticed. After it was finally done downloading a video, it was not a vr version. just normal flat non-sbs version in very low resolution (the file was only ~40mb).

However. As a workaround i used jownloader and that appears to have worked just fine. Just copy the downloaded video in the windows default videos folder and i could play it just fine with VD
