Can you please add an AI content disclosure

One glance at the trailer and you can see the key imagery has poorly-generated keyboards and a sticky note with scribbles on it. If you want to use AI instead of real art, go for it, add a disclosure to the store page though. Because it's really obvious.

It is so bad.. you can easily tell something is wrong when the art style of the player's hand in the key art is completely different from the customer, shown in the same image.

I'm suspicious about AI in games but frankly I'm not seeing it?

The sticky note scribbles look like short hand in japanese characters and the keyboard isn't standard US make

The hands also probably looks different because the "Player hands" are wearing gloves

I'm pretty sure even the voice over and music is AI generated. And there's way too many signs that the art is, as well.

They should just disclose it.

If you don't mind can you elaborate on that? I'm hearing important tone indicators in the voice over and the art that's been described as AI so far hasn't cracked the case, the characters all appear to be in line with a specific art style and shapes

Hey! There are no AI-generated assets in ReStory, and there never will be any AI-generated assets in ReStory.

Everything in the game is created by our team of extremely talented and skilled artists who have been doing it for many years, and who simply don't need any AI to create amazing visuals

And fun fact is that the voiceovers (more like grunts) were recorded by those same artists and some other devs by just grunting in the microphone for a bit 😊 who even needs AI for that lol

Our internal artist Angelina. She did cover art, game logo, characters and other 2D-arts in the game

Can't stand all this AI paranoia as armchair "experts" confidently declare human artist's work to be AI generated. These false accusations are incredibly disrespectful to the artists who worked hard to create that art. Do better.

Is there a store page "no AI asset usage" label available yet? My friend was just wondering about this game, I had to come to this thread to check for any dev disclaimer

Hi, thank you for the response. It's nice to see that there was an actual process behind this.

However, I'm not the only person who has noticed the AI-like artifacts in the key imagery and there is a very sudden jump in the process where these artifacts appear. I'm wondering if AI was used at all in the process - especially since a few people on social media have run the key imagery through AI detectors that have come back mostly positive.

If this isn't the case, great - but I still think involving AI at all in the process should be disclosed if it was used. Thank you again for the response!
