Devs - Important! How do I get a refund for the Legion DLC
As a business rule, the Legion DLC update has changed entirely the product.

As such, it is no longer the product I paid for. Or play to enjoy.
When i bought it, I was aware of the power of the killer and liked it.
So I paid money to purchase the DLC.
However, the changes to him are not a tweak. Its a complete rework.

As such,
I would like a refund of the Legion DLC.
I never intended to buy THIS product.

I fully understand that the larger community did not enjoy the Legion and wanted a change.
That's fine. But I dont want to pay for this changed product.

Can I contact your customer service for a refund on this DLC?
Please let me know.
Thanks.

Edit: Also, personally, I think the changes to him make him boring and so predictably in line with all other M1 killers. Another chase chase chase for the enjoyment of survivors, not killers. I just want my money back, thats all.

Edit: ALSO, please refund on all my Legion Skins!! I ended up buying them all. What was I thinking?

Hello,

If you've purchased Dead by Daylight - Darkness Among Us Chapter on Steam, you will have to send a refund request into Steam support.

You can do this by clicking the "Help" button in the upper left of your Steam client, navigating to the "Games, Software, Etc." tab and finding the DLC in your list of owned products.

From here you can file a refund request with Steam and they will assist you further.

If you've purchased the Legion via the in-game store with Auric Cells, you are welcome to contact support and request a refund here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/

From those of us that bought Freddy before his nerf : "Good luck".

Oh, I see somebody is a little unhappy about not being able to play their no brain killer like they used to before. Did Freddy DLC buyers get a refund? No. Why should they give you a refund then?

DLCs very rarely get refunds, And things may very well change after all the negative postings combined with PTB testing.

Point out one case where an EULA has been enforced. I'll wait.

They're a bluff. One thing every legal agreement pertaining to a product or service has to say in order for it to be legitimate is 'this does not affect your statutory rights'.

This is obviously untrue in the case of most EULAs, so they don't include it otherwise they would invite serious legal attention. They have never been tested in a court, nor do the writers of them want them to be.

This. Read the agreement before buying something. Skins are probably non-refundable in any way.

Why you use not your own brain before you write?

How would you feel, if your favorite surviver and his perks/addons got stomped in the bottom of a very deep hole?

The world is not only black and white.

I have play the legion as main since I have start to play the game and I have:

-Never use the both knife addons.
-I was kind to survivers that lost their half time because of this selfisch dc guys and have let them win the round.
-I have maybe camp 1-2 at a hook in the time between.
-Sometimes I have tunnel, but that was mostly in my first days because I didn't knew it better.
-The legion makes me fun at the moment, but the changes are horrible (mostly franzy).
-Some people have a right for refunds. That depends on the national law they live in and to be clear: National laws goes for every EULA. On the other hand... Nobody will run to an lawyer just for 5-9€ and that is the only protection the devs have, if one comes from those states.

Now tell me... Why have fair players like me deserve a patch like that?

Is the future of the legion to play the looping simulator for freaking forever, just because some survivers enjoy that? Are we supposed to dc as killers now as soon as we get annoyed by the survivers?

That is not the game I want to play and I will stop playing the game, if the legion patch really comes in this form on the live servers.

First of all, thanks for the kind words.
What does it have to do with my favourite survivor if all of them are the same and I can replace any perks with something else? I wouldn't give a damn, if that's what they want to do, so be it.
We're not balancing around 1-2 people over here, if you didn't know yet, devs clearly targeted specific strategies and busted concepts in general, if you're so upset that the lowest skill requirement killer got nerfed, then maybe you should in fact quit the game right after the nerf goes live.
Fun gameplay for you =/= fun gameplay for survivors, goes both ways. Should I go and cry and threaten to leave the game after they nerf Hillbilly's add-ons or power? Just laughable.
I knew for a fact I would not buy the DLC with a killer that had no counter since the release, it was too obvious devs will eventually nerf them.

Oh, they forgot only survivors can ever play no-brained. Oops.
The Joker Apr 16, 2019 @ 1:55pm
Let us just say, that tomorrow all speed perks get deleted, so that survivers finaly have to use skill to win a match (take that skill word please ironically, I just wanted to grab up the language).

What do you think would happen and how would the surviver main player feel? Of course some of them would leave the game until the devs would take that patch back, or maybe also for forever.

And I don't threaten the devs. If I go or not is to 100% not important for the devs. I just don't like to play games that make no fun and that is already everything.

The legion patch is far beyond "fixing exploits". He changes the whole killer and that, imo, not for good.

Why use an argument about the EULA, when you're not able to show the EULA is even solid ground?

If you were simply saying they don't need to refund, that's what you would have said and left it at that. It has sweet F all to do with the EULA.

The DLC isn't under contract with it's consumers lol you don't get to decide the terms and conditions of your own purchase. You get a refund if you owned it less than 24 hours post purchase, If they make changes down the track you're not entitled to get a refund that's not how it works. You seem a little delusional about your rights as a steam product consumer. There are terms and conditions available with said purchase if you'd like to educate yourself on what you're entitled to.
