I had some stupid trap on my head which I went to 2 things to remove it and none of them worked. Then I was escaping and the circle was around 75% done. As I was walking to the end, it randomly kills me. Just broken boring design, it was clearly at 80% and I still had time, no fun at all

there's 4 around the map it should be pretty obv

And yet I went to 2 of them and neither worked. Seems pretty impossible to go to every one, whilst trying to get to the gate, whilst trying to escape the killer

I would've tried the rest of the jigsaw boxes. One of them will take it off, but you have to find the right one.

you went up against pig with her reverse beartraps she's pretty rng based power wise as you saw but when u get them you kinda gotta beline it for the traps. sometimes you'll get it first try and wasnt a prob at all or last and you might not get it off but its a learning experience

Normally you've got enough time to check them all. Sometimes you barely get it off in time.

1) Pig has some nasty add-ons that can make her traps a real race against time but since it's rng which box contains the key to take it off you might as well be lucky and get it off first try. That's why she's considered D tier (meaning: she's not strong), her traps can potentially change the outcome of a losing match entirely... or they do nothing at all.

2) You could just read up on every killer and their power on the web, watch some vids on YouTube or, you know, check out the in-game store and read up on their power and teachable perks there... you just didn't bother and preferred to have a cry on the forum instead. That's on you.

In the game, you can click on a killer and check their perks and abilities, that's how you can find out how they work and in which ways. Generally, if your trap was put on before the last gen was finished and you run out of the gate, it'll kill you. If she puts it on after the last gen is done, you won't be killed.

You got unlucky. Simply put it's rare people get to the end game with a trap on them or activated by the last gen.. or have one of them while on the hook and the last gen pops.

How it works and why you died: Traps activate after a gen pops, you have a set of boxes on the map (number depends on addons and addons can change if you see them or not) you search the boxes for a key to remove the helmet. If you fail to find the correct box in time the trap triggers and you die.

If you have an activated trap on your head from before the last gen pops or activated when the last gen pops you must remove it before you go out the exit gate or the trap will kill you. If you're the last one alive you can still exit via the hatch with an active trap and it won't kill you.

Yeah, I understand the frustration dude. It's a pretty verbose, but not complicated killer ability. I think it just happened to get unlucky and just weren't prepared for the killer. Happens to all of us. If it puts everything in perspective, just know that the pig only has four traps, five with a add-on, so once all traps are used the killer just basically becomes an m1 killer with am ambush ability.
