Error Code 8014
I've been getting this error code ever since October. Haven't really been able to play much. Once in a blue moon it connects, or if I wait half an hour beforehand to reinstall. Then it connects me one time, and I'm back to getting the error code the second time I load in.
Just wondering if there's any news on if the developers are fixing this?

-edit- Reinstalling does definitely seem to be a one-time solution. The game just got finished reinstalling, and I've loaded it up and it let me in without the error code.
Previous times, I've reinstalled and it allowed me to load it, but when I come back to the game later the error code is back.

I had to reinstall to get it to work as well.

I just had to force-close the game because of the infinite loading screen glitch. As soon as I tried to start it back up, error code 8014.
Which means now if I want to play the game again, I have to reinstall it again.

The ultimate fix is to reinstall your operating system. I’ve had many issues with DBD after 2.5 patch (EAC error, error code 8014) and I’ve literally tried everything to fix it. I’ve sent an email to the devs and to the devs of EAC. They were very unhelpful and it took like 3 weeks for them to respond to my email each time. I ended up reinstalling my operating system and it fixed everything. I know this might sound frustrating having to reintall the Windows, but it does the trick.

Lmao I'd rather just not play the game than go through the headache of reinstalling the entire operating system on my PC.
Especially since, if it happens again, I'd have to just up and reinstall again.

Replace your whole computer. Ya need a new steam account and a second copy of the game to fix the issue.
If it happens again, you can just fix it by buying another copy of the game again.
:D
