Quentin Smith's Perks
Is it just me or the new survivor's perks seem a bit useless? Or really underwhelming?
Vigil seems the best out of the 3 but 10% isn't much of a difference.

I wonder. Earlier, I used F1 to see the perks and it was only mentioning 10%. If it's at max tier, i think it would be useless.

Pharmacy can be good but usually the med kit drop rate is pretty high when you look in chest.

And Wake Up reminds me of Deja Vu. Normally, when the gens are powered, every survivor sees where are the gates. And at 24 meters, usually you can see the gates lol It's a bit pointless like Deja Vu.

I'm thinking Wake-up might be vaguely useful as well... pharmacy, ehhh...

They put a lot of emphasis on giving killer stronger perks this time around, for the general balance of the game, killers on the forums will always stick with the same old stereotype that was in DBD since the beginning "Survivors OP, nerf" we've all heard it 10,000,000 times before. I play both sides, but even for me this kind of crap gets annoying.

Still, "steps in the right direction" you can say.

Not every surivor needs to come with god tier perks like dead hard, borrowed time, self care. They're average perks.

Wake up is definitely not Deja Vu, as it allows other survivors to see your Aura when opening up a gate which can be useful to know if you're injured and being chased by the killer you know where to go. Not to mention wake-up also increases the speed at which you open gates, which for me is the most nerve wracking part of the entire game when I'm playing survivor personally, especially against killers who can one shot you down. Anxious to get out of there

I know it's not like Deva Vu in that sense. What I'm trying to say is that with common sense, you know where generators are, same with the gates. Yes Wake up shows other survivor your aura when you open gate but again, the distance is pretty short, by the time you see the aura, you also see where the gate is.

I just feel like the perks are rather useless, I know that in the way I play, using those perks would be a waste of perk slots.

I'm not asking for god perks haha. I just feel like they are unecessary perks. Or, that's the impression they leave me. I personally don't use BT and Dead Hard (I do enjoy Self Care tho).

I personally just think wake up is awful. I'd rather use Hope.

I guess you forgot about opening gate speed increase which is useful againts remember me perk and vigil is pretty strong since lower your exhaust 20% in tier 3, and crouch also speed ur exhaust cd 33% faster. 53% means dead hard or sprint burst 18 sec. Quentin perk pretty good to me

80% faster looting speed and 8m hearing sound with emergency med kit guarenteed should be nice againts freddy since we need to break skill check ASAP when 1 gen left and wounded. Skill check in self care is about 10-12% progress if im not wrong, with 50% speed penalty i think its take ages to wake up when no other survivor nearby or everyone in dream world.

I've permanantly added two of his perks into my build. They're far from underwhelming. They nailed it with his perks tbh.
