Somehow I missed this hidden gem before.

You need somewhat to accept the mechanics and the unusual inventory.

Also pixel hunting is better to be something you like. Luckily I do.

Play it if you like the old movie Event Horizon.

Stasis is a very intriguing point and click with a simple premise, John just wants to find his family and escaping from where he's woken up, unfortunately for him it's not that simple.

Pros:
- A brutal puzzle gave flashbacks to an iconic scene from Dead Space 2.
- Aesthetic was fantastic, it really felt like you were the only survivor, everywhere would show signs of conflict.
- Being able to run via double click is useful, though I found out after a couple hours walking everywhere.

Cons:
- Answers to some of the puzzles were very vague and in the end were only figured out by guessing.
- Besides one thing toward the end of the game there were no threats in the game whatsoever.
- Voice acting was all over the place.

The game has good atmospherics and a decent story, they also chose to add depth to the voice acting like they sound like they are really in those corridors, a little heavy at times but adds to the weight of the game instead of the standard deep studio mic voice that sounds so out of place in a lot of games.

I found the main character a bit iffy at times and how you find some items to use in-game makes no sense to the characters goal/life personality, they obviously went more gory sided, also a couple of puzzles follow the typical point and click formula at least to my brain....just use everything there until you get a result to progress, not terribly tough to solve just again little sense is there as to why one would do that.
The plot has a few dramatic surprises or not, depending on your own exposure that I found interesting and I was satisfied enough to see the story to it's conclusion and the voice acting is good here.

Overall a very decent game in my opinion and worthwhile addition to the genre.
