Russian Localization Feedback

Hi Everyone,

We'd like to open a dialog on the Russian Localization and user's first impressions.

If you find something questionable, please reply with what you think would be a better translation.

Localization is something we're going to focus on for the next few monthly updates, so changes and improvements are welcome!

If you have russian set there, run a [reverify application cache...] on the Steam 'Local Data' tab.

This will re-write the language registry keys.

There's no way to do a "perfect" localization :-) There's always will be a compromises. Especially for digital audio etc.
But aniway.
1. I'd suggest to change translation of "Quantize" from "Выравнивание" to "Квантизация".
It's already long-held conventional therm.
So, "Align" = "Выравнивание", and "Quantize" = "Квантизация".
"Groove Quantize" = "Шаблонная квантизация" or maybe better "Квантизация по шаблону".

2. "Свободные эффекты" is not a very intuitive translation for "Region FX".
But right now I just can't suggest a translation that would be short, correct and not too funny at the same time.
"Областные эффекты", for example, is formally correct, but sounds like a joke...

3. "Bypass" (i.e. FX) should be translated as "Пропустить", not "Исключить".

Hey guys, могу говорть на русском, but it's not my native language. Perhaps instead of translating "Region FX" literally, we could use a different word? In the case of Sonar, a region is simply a clip or piece of a track you select. Would it be possible to make a Russian version where it says like "Clip FX" or something along those lines?

First Russian localization done wrong in the sense that some of the terms should be left without the translation, some transliterated and other may be translated some little differently.
I do not want to distract representatives support. For example, I just turned off the location and work with English. It seems ridiculous, but in English it easier to understand.

If the original version of localization was replaced with a more adequate, I would be only too happy.
