Can i run Doom 2016? and Eternal?
Hey FPS fans!
i got a question...
i beat doom 2016 multiple times but each time it was on the xbox one x and not my pc my friend told me that my pc can run doom perfectly fine in vulkun and im wondering if thats true?
my specs are:
Ryzen 5 1500x 3.8ghz
GTX GeForce 1050 TI 4gb
8GB DDR4
SSD Drive

im wondering if i turn off AA ,shadows all that how good it will run?
and if it does run can it run doom eternal too? ID said that doom eternal will be more optimized because its made with vulkun from the start which doom 2016 did not do so in theory if doom 2016 runs eternal should too???
i wont be able to upgrade my GFX card for a while since an upgrade would cost me at least 200euro and i dont have to just spend that ;p unless i save for couple months

I'm on 1050 Ti can run it fine at 60FPS on Ultra (2016 that is, nobody knows what Eternal gonna need for now)

If you're running DOOM 2016 fine right now I don't see why you wouldn't be able to run Eternal.

Don't forget Vulkan either and how amazing the optimization is on DOOM 2016. :)

Bro you know there is a Doom16 demo?, try it, see if it can do what you want and expect, then I'd say weigh it up to about 75% of what Eternal will do.

i'm sure you can play them hopefully without issues
Friend of mine only has 3GB GPU, they have doubts so when I get my new one, I will gladly donate my 980Ti to them.

I'm glad to see you following in the steps of Hooks - it shows some real personal growth.

You can certainly run DOOM and Eternal. I was running DOOM on a GTX 670 with 2GB vram and keeping a near 100FPS with all the visual goodies turned on. Granted, this is at 1024x768 as I'm on a CRT and don't mind the low resolution, but with the proper balance of resolution and quality settings you should be just fine getting a solid 60FPS at 720p or higher.
