I started cheating by accident!

I'm using an xbox controller, and had my game paused, I stood up and walked away and dropped my controller. When I had unpaused my game, it was going SUPER fast, I hit for 9999, and the combat ended. In a panic, I thought my game had enabled boosters via config or something! Turns out by using the trigger buttons I was turning settings on and off. Seems I can do it at will, so whats the point of boosters in the config menu? Why add them at all?

Well some people wanna be able to cheat and have a little fun with the game if they've already beaten it, so there's that. Now this is why I say to always check before you unpause if there's a cheat active. there's 7 boosters in the game, 4 of which toggle, 3 that are permanent. the 4 that toggle are able to be toggled via the pause menu on the controller, or simply the f1-f4 keys on the keyboard. The 3 that are permanent are f5-f7 or the config menu.

lol, I have three dogs, and I'm clumsy... Also, obviously you can't turn off the config ones, I'm just stating what's the point of having them as an option with that sort of freedom to cheat at will.

lol, I have three dogs, and I'm clumsy... Also, obviously you can't turn off the config ones, I'm just stating what's the point of having them as an option with that sort of freedom to cheat at will.

Because it's a bit inconvenient to always open the config menu to turn 3x speed on/off, don't you think? Or it WOULD be. Hence the 3x speed (and some others) is not in the config, but is a hotkey. Also, config menu can't be opened in battle.

Oops, I think I missed your point completely. I don't know. For some reason they have been including these cheats with the PC versions lately........
