Quina's new skills are obtained by eating foes, just like the normal way. There's no guide for which monster to be eaten, though, that's part of the mod to force the player to discover the game again. Also, a few equipments teach Quina a skill, but later than their availability by eating.
I saw that there was a bug in the Steam version that is not present in the PSX version: during the Prison Cage fight, Vivi is muted but that doesn't appear (other than the fact he can't cast). On the PSX version, it was clear that Vivi was under Silence for this fight.
Good luck for what happens next ;)
I tried having Dagger use Mini on Zidane once...

Come back with avengeance did you Rydia?, oh well I guess after being banned 3 times you kinda have to get tough skin. was it tough on the inside?
One question sir:
Did you tinker with the stat boosting through equipments ? Is it the same as before ?
It's very neccessary for me to have that included, im doing a low level playthrough and wanna level late game with the right equipment to get the highest stats possible.
Well somewhat, dont wanna be a perfectionist. Well i did that before and ended up with Vivi with 90 in magic stats with no one to demolish lol.
This game needs extra bosses lol.
But i hope you understand my question above :)
What other mods release on steam do you recommend with your mod?
I was thinking about audio fix, black bars, fps fix and Memoria but dont know if your mod supports any more mods..
Hope i make sense with all my questions
I modified the stat boosting equipments a bit indeed. However, except for the weapons, I didn't modify anything crucial (nothing worth for a low level challenge). The ultimate weapons give a big stat boost, as well as a few special weapons (STQ and Hammer).
Also, even though I don't think it's possible to make a lvl 1 game without cheating, difficulty-wise, I removed the experience from a few mandatory battles. In particular, Yana's battle don't give experience anymore.
For the other mods on Steam, they are not compatible. I didn't test the XInput mod as my controller works fine enough, but this one might be compatible.
If a mod doesn't require you to modify p0data2, p0data7, resources or Assembly-CSharp, it will likely be compatible (but most mods do require that).
@ Blank: I'm not planning to add Blank in Alternate Fantasy. The main reason is that I don't see it fit story-wise. There is also an tecnical problem: Blank is sharing a character slot with Amarant. That means you can't add Blank to the party without removing Amarant (it also has effects on stats, as for the infamous Marcus-Eiko glitch).
If you want to add Blank nonetheless with Hades Workshop, you must use either one of these scripts:
The first one enables Blank and let the player choose his party (show the team choice screen).
The second one just adds Blank to the party (the party must not be full or it will fail).
Add these lines in one of the fields' scripts, at the point of the game where you want to add Blank. Note that he won't be available anymore if the game changes the party again (unless you modify the part of the game script that changes the party).
You can't open my mod with Hades Workshop yet to make your own alterations.
Yes i saw that the ultimate weapons raise stats.
Im talking about stats boosting while leveling up.
For example if you wear Robe of Lords while leveling you get Spd 1+, Str 1+, Mag 3+ and Spr +1 as an extra stat while leveling.
Many other items like Ribbon increases Mag +3 and Defender Spr +3.
But the character needs to wear it of course while leveling.
Im just asking, does this still work ?
@ Shirayuki474: Well, I didn't think you could still bruteforcing Ozma... I'll see if it needs balancing.
Necron, however, has much more HP in this version.
@ GuyInDogSuit: Hum... There won't be any bug (the game won't crash because of that), but a few skills and/or items are meant to be obtained differently in Alternate Fantasy and in the vanilla game. You may end up with 2 Kain Lances or whatever, for instance. It's better to start from a new game but it won't be so terrible to continue from your save.
Also, remember that the mod is not compatible with Albeoris's Memoria :/
