Nope. The change of font seems to work, but the backgrounds are vanilla.
- All the mods for this game, Moguri mod included, are illegals. They are using assets from SE, and even I've asked for their authorization, they didn't consent for legal reasons.
if I start doing something they don't like, they want to be able to do something about it, and it's their right.
- All mods, including mine, should be declared under "fair use". It does not protect the mod authors from any legal action, as only a judge can decide if it's really fair use or not (it's probably not).
That's why the whole code & process for my mod is public (knowledge), the SquareEnix copyrights are clear, and I don't credit myself for this mod (except indirectly through my twitter & steam account, but not on the website). But I credit Pontus for the new music as it's a derivative work.
- These two points being cleared, here is another technical point : If two mods are modifying the same data files, they are inherently incompatible. That's also valid for original files : That's why you can't choose between the music from Pontus and the original one. One the file is overriden, the original is gone (in the case of the music, as I don't change the install folder, the original is safe, but unused). That is also why, even if I change 3 kb of data in a 4gb file, I have to distribute the full 4 gb of data (or make a patch process, that will only work on the original steam file).
- As I'm modifying some files that others mods are also modyfing, they should be incompatible.
- One of those mod is the "sound fix mod" or whatever is the real name of that mod.
- For the file that we are both modifying, the "sound fix" mod is taking the original sound from the PSX and put it back into the steam version.
- As it was requested by some users, to make Moguri compatible with that "sound fix mod", I did exactly the same thing : extracted the original PSX files (as I did for all the backgrounds), and re-injected them into my modified file.
- Both mods are now compatible, but of course, all the others stuff that the sound fix mod is doing is NOT done by my mod (I'm not even aware of the others fixes)
- It came to my attention that the other of the sound fix mod claims (accordingly to some guy, I didn't verified the original claim), that I stole its work and didn't credit him. Because of that, he removed all his mods.
- The fact is : we both stole the work from someone else : SquareEnix. It's plain wrong to claim any credit on it, and it's again fair use. I won't credit anyone for that kind of work (taking original PSX files to but them to a unity port), as there was no extra process that could qualify as an artistic/derivating work (like Pontus musics). I also redid what he did, and for a single file
- I did not took his whole mod. You probably still need his mod to have all the functions. I barely made them compatible.
-I did not even took the work he did on that data file but redid it myself as I really didn't want to take any other work from him, hidden in his mod, that I wasn't aware of.
- If that guy (sorry I don't know its steam username) decided to remove his works, it's his own right. You have to respect that decision.
That's a long text for something I shouldn't have to say, and I hope this clear this matter.

A fellow modder on this Qhimm thread by the name of snouz is trying to get in touch with you regarding their rework of Moguri. It looks amazing and is almost complete, so please reach out to them :)

If Ze PilOt does not appear, then it looks like the Moguri mod update will not. :-(
