I broke Paladin Danse

Paladin Danse changed locations after certain events of the storyline which I don't want to spoil here. He gave me his "I like you" speech, where companions tell you their life story, now he just sits there and doesn't say or do anything when I talk to him. He looks at me, sometimes he walks around a bit, but I cannot talk to him, give him orders or tell him to follow me again. Is there a console command or something to reset the guy?

i think were at the same point here.. He at a specific named bunker? I also got another one of his life stories and now he just stares at me as if ive got 4 heads and no interaction. I miss having him around and unless iu do have 4 heads i swear its george clooney :P

Yep, exact same situation as me. At the bunker. I tried resetting him by shooting him in the face, but he just dies and comes back in his BoS outfit if you resurrect him via console command. Boo!

I also thought it was George Clooney! If anyone finds a way to fix him then please do tell. I tried Killing in console, resurrect, Teleporting him from Listing post bravo to sanctuary. Nothing has worked so far.

Guys, did you end up choosing to fight the Brotherhood? Because it seems to be related to that. Even with the BoS treating Danse like a huge back of ♥♥♥♥♥, apparently he stops talking to you if you take em down.

I sided with the Institute and destroyed BOS and the Railroad but I sided with Danse when he was called out for being a synth by Maxson

I did the same thing, but my Danse is broken. Is yours still working even after you did all that, Snake?

nope, i went to listening post bravo, he has emotional talk about his past and paladin krieg and then he never talks again. I call his name but he doesn't reply and just keeps walking.

Oh yeah, sorry about that stupid question - you already explained all that earlier. My bad.
Well, I guess Danse "breaks" once you choose to go against the Brotherhood. Might be working as intended, though you'd think he'd at least attack you or tell you he's done with you instead of just ceasing to function at all. :-/

Only thing I can think of is console commands. You know, max out your friendliness with the guy and turn him back into a follower. Haven't tried it yet, though. Dunno if he'd even still work as intended or whether he'd just follow us around in his broken state.
