Taking independance generator HELP

Im doing the minuitemen questline. I'm on taking independance and it wont let me build a generator to power the radio transmitter even though the settlement has enough space and I have all the junk required.

Anyone know what couldbe wrong/ how to fix it

Nope not a thing i managed to build 1 turbine but now the 3d model isnt coming up for that either

i can build literally anything else

make sure you have plenty of the required materials to build said item.

Did you get the perk via console commands? Because if you did, try adding the previous stages too.
You could also try "player.removeperk 000264db" and "player.addperk 000264db" to reset the perk, might kickstart everything into working.

Have not used console commands at all levled up legit. I'll give it a go anyway

more than enough the 3d model just isnt appearing

odd then, have only ran into that problem when out of materials or at capacity for building.

Were you able to find a fix for this? I'm having the same problem. I can build both the small and medium generators but not the large one. I have Lvl 2 science perk and all the materials needed to build one but it just doesn't show up.

Note: I tested on another settlement (Sanctuary Hills) and I am able to build a large generator there, only seems to affect the Castle settlement so far.

Did you claim the settlement?

Because with previous poster I see a quest marker on top of the construction bench. Since this is a main quest it needs progressing by claiming the Castle.

If the models don't come up then that means you lack the required parts or don't have the required perk

Thanks Xander. That was the problem i think. It let me build the large generator via clicking on the workshop directly. Trying to build it via the workshop menu (holding V) would not let me build it that way. Settlement building is so frustrating in this game.

i did but i had to use console commands "placeatme 0011E2C5 1" i think builds a large generator
