People have been saying that the mod is outdated and many of it's options no longer function properly.
*CORRECTION* 1.6.2's version works properly, as it does not rely on MCM.
for damage multiplier you don't need a mod, just one line to add your autoexec script that runs at launch time (assuming you don't want to use the survival console enable mod)
But again, what is the problem?
I'm not having an issue with any enemy in particular, I just prefer global multipliers rather than player-based ones in the only mode which has hunger, thirst, sleep and disease.
After doing some digging, Spec_Ops_Ape's suggestion for Survival option works with it's 1.6.2 version(as it does not use MCM which is causing the issue).
In hardcore mode, what survival is called internally, there's two associated values, aptly named HC_IncomingDamageMult and HC_OutgoingDamageMult... you can set them to whatever you want, you want to do 30x damage and kill a supermutant with one swing of a katana? Go right ahead. The defaults are 2.00 and 1.50... remember that very hard doubles the damage you receive and halves the damage you do. Which is why I say they hit you for 4x damage... and you deal 0.75x. You want to match them? Set Outgoing to 8.00, then you will receive and dish out 4x.
Got it? Pretty basic, right? Who needs mods for simple crap, learn your game you dummies. So many mods are just that, automating these kinds of things because they want to be cool and act like they "made" a mod... but they didn't. Don't confuse the poseurs with those that work incredibly hard on elaborate complex innovative and truly worthy mods!
You can edit your Fallout4.ini to add a line at the top with the variable sStartingConsoleCommand="bat some_file_name_you_want_to_run" and then put that text file in the main game directory (default Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4 I think) and it'll execute the commands in that file every startup, this is how people in survival mode get endless jetpack AP without console access, and so forth. But you don't want to bother setting any variable that is stateful, because if it gets changed, it's not like you can open the console and issue "bat filename" again...
Course by now you know you can do that, too. But I don't recommend it if you have self-control issues. Once you know you can open the console, it's pretty hard to resist. At least make it a module you have to enable/disable at the start, so to change you have to save, exit, and re-launch... deters the casual "player.additem f 250000"....
