place everywhere mod not working?

So I reinstalled the Place Everywhere mod again and wanted to try it out. By default it is off, sais the mod site but by pressing insert, it should activate. But it does not.
Aditionally, I can now not move placed objects anymore after the first placing.
For example when i place a shack foundation and want to move it to an other position, i have to scrap it and then build a new one.

remove all your mod and activate only place everywhere see if it works by itself, if not, you must be missing something. But you should go to the site where you downloed that mod and ask that question to the mod author

Possibly silly question on the same level of 'have you tried turning it off and on again' buuuuut;

Spring Cleaning might be interferring, as well as any other mods that have to do with cells or building. I have noticed some pretty wierd conflicts in mods ever since Far Harbor has come out.

would it help if i uninstall all mods, start a new game and then reinstall them in kind of an order?

I don't know if it's the cause but the mod basically supercedes place in red.
