Mouse and keyboard not working
I've seen threads where people recommend the "go into fallout 4Pref.ini and change bGamepadenabled to 0 (instead of 1). I've tried reinstalling it and everything. Nothing worked so far. What I'm guessing is that it has something to do with windows. Because as soon as I start up the computer, I can start up the game and work my way through the main menu (which I can't otherwise) but then it's like everything is disconnected. Although I can use "Alt + F4" and "Ctrl + Alt + Del"

This is what I've got:
Intel Core i5 4670K 3.40GHz
MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Windows 10

If anyone got a fix for this plz contact me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Unplug gamepad and cold-boot.

I don't have a gamepad so that's not plugged in. I have tried normal reboot and cold-boot. Nothing works

Ok, no need to worry. I fixed it by closing down a few programs that was running and then try starting them up again one by one. The game worked with most of the programs except Overwolf

Thanks for trying to help me mates :D

There was an Xbox controller in the task manager, go to the task manager and disable it. Restart the computer, your keyboard and mouse should now work without issue.

I fixed the problem by closing down overwolf a while ago but thanks for trying. There are probably more people with this problem and might work with your fix.

Yeah, FO4 doesn't tend to play well with anything running in the background. When I was playing (versus writing mods in CK) I'd close everything before firing it up... started that after once running short on memory because Firefox had a leak and ate several gigs, followed a few days later by getting a popup window from the OS (update or something, can't remember) and couldn't get the game to take precedence again (in other words, couldn't switch back to do anything... save, close, console, nothing worked).

Turn controller off in the game.

Yea but how would you turn it off if the game can't read any input? :steamfacepalm:
from my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience, it was the Xbox or Xbox 360 controller messing it up and not allowing me to use my mouse, keyboard, and the controller and even when the controller wasn't plugged in. just check out this website and try this out if nothing else works because nothing worked but this for my issue.
