Marine Armor
So the usual way to acquire all the pieces of Marine Armor is to do all five levels of Dima's memory quest in the Nucleus. Which I dislike doing, so I never got the armor pieces.
However I discovered another way to get them. You can buy the helmet from Brooks in Far Harbor, and if you eliminate all the Children of Atom in the Nucleus, they have random pieces of Zealot armor on them, which can be upgraded to Assault Marine armor. In fact I ended up with two complete sets plus some extra pieces, not counting the helmet.

I just use a mod that auto-completes the Dima memory quests, they are indeed annoying
I don't get how people have issues with the dima stuff, I did it my first go with no guides or anything in a few minutes. I felt it was underwhelmingly easy. What I did find tedious was all the running around (I only fast travel home or to settlements) to get the pieces.

It's not that they are difficult, but when you're on your 5th playthrough, they start to get a bit redundant
That's fair, yea. I've only done em twice myself.
