Dx12 error?

Stress test isnt open anymore, but i never got to play it and i fear i wont be able to play when the update releases because of the error that popped up for me: "Dx12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument" I have a GF65 Thin 9sd msi laptop and it has GeForce GTX 1660 TI and intel(R) UHD graphics 630. When i check my systems stuff, it says i have DirectX 12. So i think i support it? I updated the drivers through NVIDIA GeForce experience. Could anyone tell me how to fix this error? Im not very tech savvy, and i have no clue what any of this means or how to fix it.

Bumping this. Update has released. Experiencing the same issue with the same error message. My drivers are up to date.

I have the same issue. I've been playing the game just fine a few days ago. Since the update I can't start the game. I've tried several things after googling. Nothing works.

BellThePepper i know how you feel, I've just spent the last 2 hours meticulously going through my software, hardware and reading everything i can about this issue. Even your post a few days ago regarding trying to get into the test branch. all of my system is up to date and the patches of my OS and Dxdiag all match what is supposed to be viable. i have hit a wall and it sucks..........

I had the Dx12 error too, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now it work. I recommend you to restart your computer before playing the game.

Right click The Isle In your library, Then click uninstall.

I use an AMD Radeon R9 390 series card which i have updated to the latest driver correctly and it still don't work. i have reinstalled the game, didn't work. I've changed the launch parameters to Dx11 or D3D11 and that no longer works because the devs no longer support it. I've checked my windows 10 64bit is up to date running the latest patch which it is and that still didn't work. I really have no idea :(
