Would Linux compatibility be a thing?
I don't want to be a bother asking for Linux when there's already so much being worked on, but I was wondering if a Linux version would be possible or already planned

I worked on a Linux port of the game, it never really functioned 100% and had crashes.

Steam came out with it's Linux wrapper and it ran the game at a faster rate, and without crashes.

I think in the long run even if I get the Linux port running decent, it won't actually be as fast or accurate as Steam's wrapper.

Using proton is a much better solution frankly. If you have a game that runs well in proton then you're doing well for the linux gaming community. I don't think native linux should be a huge focus, just proton compatibility.

The only downside with using Proton is that split screen is currently broken, however the old native version never had that either.

Hi, so is this still the route you're going? Just came across the original Kickstarter campaign which mentioned Linux support. Would be a shame if you gave up in favour of a compatibility layer.
