Goalkeepers
Is there any other need for substitute goalkeepers aside from levelling up a youngster with potential?

No.
After many thousand matches never had an injury.
And stamina isn´t a problem for GK, so never need to be changed.

Perhaps one day off-field/training injuries may be introduced - that would give reserve Goalkeepers more of an opportunity to get involved I guess.

Yes, very helpfull answere.

"Perhaps one day someting may be added to the game.." ???

Alright pal - no need to be rude and obnoxious, I was simply replying to your previous comment saying perhaps something will be added in the future whereupon reserve keepers are of more use. Nothing more than a passing comment.

It´s not rude.
Its just an superfluous comment.
Just a comment to do a comment, not to answere the question.

you realise it was me who started the thread right? I wouldn't answer my own question.

No

I think @Hooray Henry was reasonable in suggesting that GK injuries could be added to the game. GK's do get injured in real life.

However, if a team i has only one GK or is very unfortunate, it could find itself without a GK and no way to replace him. Some have complained that they can't find a GK in the transfer market or through the academy to replace an aging GK. If injuries are included, this situation should be considered.

you get a new academy goalkeper every 2 years, so it's very easy to plan ahead - if your goalkeeper is 31+ it's best not to instasell new academy goalkeeper. if for some reason you srewed up in that department you can always use global market.
I wish they would change so that we do not get a goalie every 2 years - way too often and feels bad when they waste academy spot like that.

GKs in from the academy are like buses. You get none when you need them, and then three come along in a row.

My GK is injured when I was playing the demo, but I don't remember how. Has that happened to anyone else?
Hooray Henry Jan 21, 2019 @ 10:19am
Nope never had it happen to me, was he possibly playing outfield and got injured/tackled?
Hoplite39 Jan 21, 2019 @ 11:21am
I've never had a GK injured.

No, he wasn't. Maybe I don't remember correctly, because I don't know how it could be.

My first season I didn’t even have a goalkeeper, it was mental. Had an academy guy with a defence stat of 5.......everything went in.
