"Client performance"
Does that mean you will finally look into RAM stuff and make this runnable on 4?
It can't be that hard considering that the game ain't even the scale of Planetside 2 yet, all the while PS2 runs pretty well on 4GB.
@Nightingale: No, not just RAM, it's CPU bound right now, especially on AMD, there are rendering issues as well which drop FPS and there is about 20FPS lost due to some incompatibility with UE4 and Scaleform which we've been trying to figure out for months now with them. So as they say; ALL THE THINGS
is Nvidia GTX 780 ti any goot for Unreal engine 4? Also got Core i7 (haswell) and other greatest PC parts of 2015 year.
just tell about vid card
780 should work fine, just make sure you don't try to run it at 1080 resolution and take quality down one notch.
When can we expect Australian servers?
Fantastic stuff, I think the most important question is...Where are the Fists?! :steammocking:
Also, you need to include more graphics config. Those speacial effects are blind the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. Plasma rifle just make the flash that you almost can't see you target. Oh, and melee, oh hell. When you get into real skirmish with two or three people you just cant see anything because of those damage/supression/block etc special effects that are too much.
I for one, am super stoked for this!
Oh yes, right, we should have 2 new subfactions in shortly.
[BR-II]B1ind - My Technical Art Director went to work on exposing more graphics config in the menu just this morning as part of client optimizations. (Melee is still being iterated on, I can't remember a patch in months where it didn't get an update)
MethMethMeth - YesYesYes. Or, as we progress with the technical backend, this is most certainly the plan. We use the Amazon Cloud server, they have machines everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Just look behind you.
Can you guys eventually include a single-player campaign? Or like an Offline Mode? Would help with the versatility of the game overall, knowing it isn't completely reliant on other people.
