Playing from New Zealand
Both sides get randomly distributed as attackers and defenders. They are all, as far as I can tell after playing over 50 hours, quite balanced.
The way to beat ChainSword is to learn how to Melee. Quick Strikes are beaten by Defensive Bashes, which are beaten by Charged (Heavy) Strikes, which are beaten by Quick Strikes. Most players spam the quick strikes and are easily beaten by Bashing them. Shooting them in the head works too.
@ Death'sHead
That is a common misconception, all Bolters use a two-stage propulsion, standard powder from the barrel and THEN the propellant ignites. Otherside the Barrel would get destroyed from the jetwash of the rounds and the guns would not hurt anything at point-blank range.
