[DELT] Delta Squad - LSM Training guild
Respect. Honour. Tenacity.

Delta Squad is dedicated to providing the un-guilded Loyalist Space Marine community with trained Squad Leaders. They should be able to know that if someone with the DELT tag is leading a squad, that they will get Waypoints and orders, and if they follow them in the field that they will be supported.

Delta Squad does this by accepting into its ranks only those who are willing to be Squad Leaders, and training them in the mechanics of doing so. More advanced trainings will include tactics and strategies to employ. All Delta Squad Operations are intended to be able to be executed without the use of VOIP, to ensure that all in the squad can participate.

A DELT Squad Leader is no guarantee of tactical acuity or victory, but it is an assurance that the squad will receive direction, and that if they stack with the Squad Leader at all times, their chance of success will increase.

If you enjoy solo play, but don't like the lack of organisation amongst the rest of the team, Delta Squad needs YOU. Step up, and make a difference. Be the change that the Loyalists need.

FAQ

What is Delta Squad?
Delta Squad is a guild that trains people in being an effective Squad Leader. It is not a guild that runs events, operations, or group play. The only organised activities are Garrison and Live Fire trainings.

I see someone with the DELT tag leading a squad in-game. What does this mean?
This means you can expect a certain minimum competency in leading a squad: waypoint placement, Rally points, and some guidance. Beyond that, you can expect a Sergeant to insist people stack on him, to prioritise uncapture points, and execute basic strategies. You can also expect a certain level of behaviour, according to our Code of Conduct. A DELT Squad Leader is no guarantee of tactical acuity or victory, but it is an assurance that the squad will receive direction, and that if they stack with the Squad Leader at all times, their chance of success will increase. You can find a list of Delta Squad Leaders and their ranks and awards here

I would like to be trained in Squad Leading. How do I join Delta Squad?
You will need to have an Enjin.com account first, and then submit an application via this link: http://delta-squad.enjin.com/recruitment. If your application is to be accepted, you will then be asked to arrange for a Garrison training. Make sure to read the Basic Training beforehand. Once your training is complete, your application on the website will be accepted, and you can then apply to the guild in-game. Make sure to create a character on the Delta Squad website so we know who to accept in-game.

What happens if I just apply in-game?
Your application will be rejected without a training request on the website, and will not be accepted until you have completed basic Squad Leader training.

I don't like guilds, why do I have to join one to get training?
Delta Squad isn't like normal guilds: we have no activity requirements, no set times for team play. The point, however, is to have a recognisable guild tag in game so that people know what to expect. Joining Delta Squad allows for this recognition, a means to ensure that those with the tag are properly trained, and the administrative tools to mange all of that. If you wish to receive training and never interact with us again, that works just fine - just know that those with the DELT tag will still be expected to perform according to their training, and behave according to our Code of Conduct.

I'm already in a guild, but would like to get some training, can I do that?
Sure, just submit an application and arrange for training. You will be recorded as a Delta Squad Leader on the website, but won't carry the recognisable tag in-game.

So how do I arrange this training?
