What's the best staff or catalyst for sorcery?

I'm stuck deciding on sage or crystal staff.

I'm not sure either way, would it be better going for faster casting or more fp cost for empowered casting?

I'm above 250 FP and 50 INT.

Mostly i been using my pryo flame + 10 and both pyro rings with the fire clutch and mostly using chaos fire orb, it kills most enemies in one hit.

So i really weant to know your opinions fellow magic users, which staff would you use for spells like soul spear, crystal soul spear, homing cystal soul mass, and what rings other then the two sorcery rings?

yeah i look at fextralifes wiki heaps and i'm leaning towards the crystal staff for normal 'magic' sorceries, but izaliths for dark.
