Highest pure physical damage weapon?

As title says , just curious what weapon now has the highest AR before any buffs/rings/spells etc. I know it was FUGS prior to the massive nerf it received but i see now it is around 570 with 50 str , is anything higher than this that is just pure physical damage? Cheers

It is all about the heavy attack with the Black Knight Greataxe. If you are rolling you are doing it wrong...

EDIT: Also the FP spender is freakin nasty if you land the final blow...NG+ Silver Knight "one-shotter" that is.

Standard GAxe moveset is what I mean. Burger King's is unique.

Most "heavy" weapons top out at 570+, putting on Carthus flame or magic on it will give you a nice boost, some weapons like the Lothric greatsword have excellent scaling and added ligthning dmg, when you buff them with flame or magic, bam near 800 attack rating right there. It's a butt ugly sword though, yet very powerful.

My black knight greataxe sits at around 700 something with 50 str 40 dex

Another great weapon in terms of raw damage is the Greatsword of Artorias--or rather the Wolf Knights Greatsword. The strong one handed attack has incredible reach, albeit slowly, and the two handed heavy attacks have a very broad arc. Also, it does very good damage, and the heavy battleart (flipping through the air attack) can also flip your character over many horizontal swings, spells, magics, and pyromancies, as well as deal massive damage upon hitting. Its also not as slow as the BKGA

Depends on how lucky you are, I got mine without even trying but I can't seem to get the chest piece for the black knight armour. I suppose it doesn't matter though.

Yeah i was lucky enough to get the BKGA after just a few runs at untended graves with about 360 item discovery recently. Was the fume ultra greatsword before nerf still higher damage than BKGA @ 50 str?

I got it on my first try using a gold coin, crystal sage rapier, and golden serpent ring. My luck is on 27, the item find rate was 327. Its absolutely not hard to farm this item and it is indeed one of the better great weapons in-game hands down.

Been using smough's great hammer at 45 str (requirement for using one handed), dex is at 12 and it doesnt add anything to scaling. That thing deals 625 damage when two handed and 598 one handed, and it covers a large area when swinging it. The downside is you look like an idiot when swinging it :D.
