High Lord Wolnir impossible to beat?

I died 3 times in a row with 2 phantoms on this boss without beating even half of his health.
Is there any way to kill this SOB? We tried hitting his bracelets, but the little skeletons eventually killed us all, or his dark breath or whatever.

Stay away from the dark mist, kill the skeletons when they appear, and keep attacking those bracelets.

His attacks are random, meaning that u might have just gotten a unlucky roll and he used the skeleton ability. I've had multiple fights with him where he never used it.

I usually attack the right bracelets first, then the left one. If you destroyed both of the right ones, he can only summon his sword, and it is extremely easy to dodge.

I always go for the right hand (your left, single bracelet) first as it's more difficult to hit than the other hand. Plus when he starts bringing in the sword, that first hand just gets harder to hit.

He's really a simple boss to kill. Just gotta pay attention to your surroundings

The more summons you have with you, the higher the boss health.
As for his/her/it's attack and defense, i think it does not change based on summons.

Do that boss without summons. you can 5 hit the bracelets if you are building properly.

My other problem is that he crawls towards me so fast, that in a few minutes I hit the wall behind me, and there's no way to move anywhere.
Maybe I'll watch some videos of this boss, but up to this point DS3 wasn't that hard. For me the previous DS games were much much more difficult.

go for the right bracelet first,get the other 2 after,hes not hard at all,maybe on the first try

With his "YOU DIED" breath attack, if you stand right under his head (not too close or his body mist will slay you), the breath won't hit you.

His bracelets are what keep him comfortable in the abyss; if they're broken, Wolnir's sanity and will to live will be lost to the Abyss, so definitely do aim for them. His reclusive right band (your left) is an annoying one, so you'll want to focus that down fast.

I know it's not impossible, it just seems that way, because as I've written before, all previous bosses were killed in the first try (with phantoms)!
