Crossplay with Switch/PC?

As the title says, I have a friend who bought the game via switch, and the site says

"Yes – if you are playing on PC, Xbox One, PS4 or Switch then Portal Knights can be enjoyed online with up to 3 other players. If you are playing on mobile, local multiplayer (same Wi-Fi) is supported for up to 4 players. Devices require the same version of the game in order to play this mode."

Is this still viable? Is there any way for a switch user to play with a PC user? We have a dedicated server as well. Just trying to find a way around this to avoid a waste of money. :(

You got that from the support site and it doesn't say crossplay at all but Multiplayer is available.

I bet if Crossplay is enabled they would have made it very clear with shiny red text with a golden outline smacked on their website for us to see.

Digging through the internet, no Crossplay plans at all (old posts) and a latest one from someone on Twitter 2022 no Crossplay.

Devs are working on another title so i wouldn't bet they'll enable crossplay now.

You should delete this thread, it's misleading Google's results and tricking people into buying the game under the false pretence the game has crossplay.

It's the top / embedded result.

I'd think you would want to keep the post up since it clarifies that the game doesn't support it. I'd suggest you click the "send feedback" button to Google since they are the ones misquoting the post.
