Failed trial of delving?

So i finished the trial of delving, rung the bell, mined the bell, but the bell ring didn't register and now i can't do anything. Is there ANY way to fix it? (doubt it with my luck and stupidity)

before the 20 Feb 2020 update you could not mine the bells. Not sure why the dev's changes that as at times when you ring the bell the game does not show it as complete. The event will come up again later, it is a re-occurring event. The great part about the event is you can mine all the a. Classic Furniture b. Red Roof Tile c. Gray Block
d. Ruinstone Block e. Studded Ruinstone f. Polished Marble Block
g. Books/bottles/candles, etc. and Over 30 Gold Fire Pots that sell for a good price. When the event comes around again the temples are regenerated back to new condition. it is open for 12 hours so that is plenty of time to get the building materials you need.

How long does it take for the mission to pop back up? Or is it random?

Next time I'll ring the bell like 10 times to be 100% sure it counted. XD

Holiday event have set dates but all the other special events are random.

Yeah I messed it up to. Tried to regen.... Had to wait till next time.

If you log out on the map and the event expires you can still do the missions when you log back into the game btw. Only the map travel marker disappears. Maybe you could mark it as your home and return there any time even.

(on a sidenote: ringing the bells just worked for me but I also didn't mine them)

Ringing the bells is actually tricky. You have to be really close to the bell until you see your mission status updating to tell you to ring it. If you ring it from afar the mission will not count it as completed.

More than 6 years after the creation of this thread... It's version 1.7.2 now, and the issue still exists. I reached the bell, I rang the bell, I mined the bell, and the mission didn't complete. I have all 6 pink cubes, and I can't add them to the portal. 6 years and the same BS still persists in the game.
