GTX 980Ti 6GB (376.33)
2560x1440
32GB DDR4 RAM
Asus X99 Pro mobo
i7-5820k
No overclocking
OS on SSD, game on HD

I've got the video settings cranked to max. I'm getting 55 to 90, occasional drops to 50 FPS - I've got a couple browsers and some other crap running, plus was doing a video capture while I watched the FPS. Game runs pretty smoothly for me. Not sure what's typical - I don't see a lot of folks complaining about performance with this one.

That's pretty icky. Have you done any other performance tracking (e.g., Afterburner) to see where there's a bottleneck?

Do you have hyperthreading turned on? I notice you're only showing 4 cores instead of 8. The CPU usage seems a bit higher than mine overall in about the same spot. The benchmark did nail one of my CPUs at 100%, which is apparently typical. Benchmark gave me 49-69 FPS and average of 59 FPS (not horrible, not great). From what I can tell, you should be running with similar FPS results.

Here's my performance stats for comparison:

I found a couple other older posts and articles from last spring talking about low FPS. This one says a fix was supposed to be released by both Ubi and Nvidia for the performance issues:

Okay, so... you've done all these?

_ Update Nvidia driver
_ Update Far Cry Primal
_ Update Windows (I think 10 now forces updates on you)

This guy has some tweaking tips that some folks in the comments say work:

Someone in an old steam post said this video worked for him:

Are you running Geoforce Experience's Shadowplay? If so, try turning that off. It's known to give folks a ~10FPS hit.
