Anyone know if there is a mod or something that can remove fleet limits from some of the missions? I understand they are there to make things more difficult but i believe they don't make sense for some missions, one of the reasons i don't like the fleet limits is i generally run corvette fleets with very few if any gunships and no fighters because its a pain to have to replace them all the time and i hat having to entirely rejigger my fleet to fight the Talon when realistically the dud...

is there a way to start with the ability to build military ships? I'm wanting to do a roleplay run where I'm playing as the character from the first one and I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to start with military ships? even if it requires some modding (if you could walk me through it that would be great)...

I've been using ship captures recently as the most expedient way to grow a fleet and sell extra ships for buku bucks. However one "issue" i've had, minor as it is, is I can't figure out if I can use the bolts and mites personally to latch onto a ship. I can take control of the little pod, but I don't seem to be able to ram my pod into the ship I wish to claim. Is there a way to do it, or is this a feature that has not/cannot be implemented due to the suicidal nature of these pods? The little drones can...
