How amazing would it be playing this game with a friend :x (MMO)
I know it might sound ridiculous but I'm loving the game and it reminds me of old mmos so much that makes me wish I could have a buddy to play with at some stage during the game hahaha even to do co-op missions XDD

I mean, they have to code their own netcode instead of the "fake" one of the game :P
This should be possible in this sort of game but would also consume much time to do.
I wish their would be an multiplayer, maybe an mod. I'm sure some people might be able to help in that matter. But the time they invest in the updates, I'm quite fine with that. I event want the DLC. I frigg'n love this game and maybe, sometime, we are able to play through the game again, with co-op mode :P
CrossCode 2?
Yeah, having the game's core gameplay expanded into an MMO honestly sounds very fun. Having secret locations to explore, a larger and more robust trade system, quests and all. Even the instanced areas could stay, as they are pretty interesting in an MMO setting and work as kind of a self-challenge. The scope of making an MMO is fairly huge for an indie dev, but if anyone can manage to make one work well in this kind of game, I'd say it's these devs. Would be a huge undertaking though.

It didn't even need to be a full mmorpg like, just recreate this game but with like servers where people can join and talk and Hunt/play together that's all, nothing too serious
I wouldn't want an actual MMO, just give me CrossCode 2 with a co-op mode.
I think mimicking MMO behavior with co-op would be the best options. I think pulling some mechanics from Dark Souls could also really benefit the illusion:
-Periodically drop players into the same "instance" in the overworld and they can PvE together
–Have AIs kill monsters as well in some places, acting like players do, in places with little/no PC traffic available
-Let players PvP like we see in the story!

Of course all of these would require a lot of work on the part of the dev. Here's something that could be a lot cooler:
-Show other player's interactions in towns and rest areas, and when players are dashing through combat-areas.
-Players can "sit down" and "leave a message" as if they were an NPC. In Co-op mode they can send entire conversations and skits.

I particularly like the second idea. Obv a little censorship could go a long way, but a ratings system would let particularly funny or inventive messages float to the top and get passed on. Boring/bad ones get voted down or reported. You never see the same message/conversation more than once as soon as you reload the area after viewing once(but maybe you can favorite some and keep track of them to share/review later?).

Its a fake MMO as-is. So you're asking for a MMO Inception. You will get lost and be unable to know which is reality lol.

If that means I can spend a lifetime in a cool Action RPG while a minute passes outside, sign me up!
