I'm bored by the combat and fetch quests
The game looks and sounds great but i'm so bored by the simple combat and the multitude of item fetch quests put upon me in the first area .. i feel underwhelmed and might quit .. i was under the impression it's mostly a puzzle game

One of the reasons the game's sidequests strike new players as boring or trivial is because it's front-loaded with simple quests that are mostly about tutorializing basic gameplay concepts. In rough order of when the typical player encounters them:

Why the game feels like a bunch of fetch quests:
Quest Lvl Type Railing Rider 1 Parkour Challenge First Steps 3 Kill Enemies A Few Steps More 3 Farm Drops Faction Introduction 3 NPC Interaction Petty Crime Hunter 6 Follow Clues Sickly Trees 6 Follow Clues / Exploration Digging for Data 6 Follow Clues / Exploration Small Time Delivery 6 Farm Drops (Trading Tutorial) Autumn's Rise Collect 8 Farm Drops Autumn's Rise Defeat 8 Kill Enemies Autumn's Rise Landmarks 8 Exploration Autumn's Rise Data Probe 8 Follow Clues / Exploration Round and Round 9 Parkour Challenge You've Got Mail 10 NPC Interaction (Shop Tutorial) Wood 'n Steaks 12 Farm Drops All Hail the Ice Cream 14 Farm Drops The Legendary Bunny 17 Follow Clues / Farm Drops Bergen Trail Collect 18 Farm Drops Bergen Trail Defeat 18 Kill Enemies Bergen Trail Landmarks 18 Exploration Bergen Trail Data Probe 18 Follow Clues / Exploration Meating Expectations 21 Farm Drops

What comes after that:
Smuggle Trouble 13 Combat Challenge (Limited Movement Area) It Can Dig But... 13 Boss Fight (Hillkat) Bull Grab 13 Combat Challenge (Multiple-wave Cage Fight) Intensive Tree Care 13 Combat Challenge (Defend a Target) A Promise Is a Promise 15 Riddle Solving / Boss Fight (Hedgehag) Round and Round 2 15 Parkour Challenge (timed) Trial of Aspiration 17 Parkour / Skill Challenge Challenge of Aspiration 18 Parkour / Skill Challenge Filthy Frobbits 18 Combat Challenge (Using Environmental Hazards) Fancy Tophat 18 Farm Drops / Kill Enemies (Combat Rank Tut.) Kidding Around 18 Navigation Challenge / Combat Digging Up the Past 19 Exploration / Find Hidden Items Building a Base 20 Farm Drops A Promise Is a Promise 2 21 Mini-dungeon / Boss Fight (Peng Peng) Explosive Debugging 22 Combat Challenge (Area Defense w/ Bombs) Preemptive Debugging 24 Combat Challenge (Area Defense w/ Bombs) Trial of Progression 22 Parkour / Skill Challenge Challenge of Progression 24 Parkour / Skill Challenge Heating the Hermit 22 Farm Drops / Puzzle Challenge The Goatfather 22 Mini-dungeon / Combat Challenge (Bomb Arena) Pushing Bases 22 Puzzle Challenge ...

As for puzzles, once you get to the first dungeon you're going to find so many in one place you might get sick of it.

To be honest sometimes i feel overwhelmed by the puzzles just by looking at the area, so i play this game in parts. Might sounds ridiculous but i have come back about 3 to 4 times to this game after a long time (1-3 months) to reload save file and continue. I refuse to use guide so that maybe a case, but i prefer satisfacrtion from doing puzzle room on my own. Keep playing it will get better trust me.

Its really all about the same as the demo for 70 hours give or take without side quests so you should already know if you will be bored based on that.

I agree.

I initially thought the combat was extremely easy, to the point primary stats didn't matter and you wanted "affixes"/supplemental stats(like Regen, Brawler etc.). The environmental Puzzles were quite simple too; if you've played a Zelda game.

However once I got to the second Area and Temple... things started to pick up. Still felt combat was simple/easy but at least the Puzzles were a bit more challenging.

Then I got to the third area... environment started to get complicated and, IMO, combat got gimmicky. Once I made it to the Temple the puzzles drastically jumped in complexity/challenge. I actually started having a hard time figuring them out.

By the fourth area/temple it felt like the game went "okay, you aren't a newb anymore!". Combat became difficult with various enemies, Puzzles became complex and frustrated the hell out of me, Bosses felt like actual bosses instead of giant Meatshields with a gimmick...(except Wave boss, screw that guy)

I actually almost wanted to rage quit during that part simply because of the amount of Puzzles both in the Temple and the surrounding Area. Especially because most of the puzzles ended up being the "perfectly ricochet a charged shot to hit X to start a timer for Y" or "go 4 screens away and unlock X area just so you can climb up and figure out the jump pattern to reach Y chest" kind of puzzles. About the only Temple Puzzle I like is the "Final Ricochet" one since they get longer for each Temple but it's pretty straight forward so it's not that complicated and you don't need a perfectly aimed charge shot.

So what you're saying is that they did a very good job of emulating MMOs? lol
Why not just ignore the quests for now and come back to them a bit later when you can knock them out of the way in an instant? That's more or less what I did. The combat will get a little better after you level up and get special moves. Also, some enemies later in the game are a bit more than just mashing away, so it is kept a little interesting.
