How do you get past that barrier?

I searched the map and I can't find the switch to do it.

You will be granted the entrance through some quests, for me it is available when you have accepted for quest in Bergen Trail for going after Goat Kid.

I solved the goat kid quest already - captured the goat, then ran after some shmuck dude, then report to the guard.

It didn't involved going through there.

Is there a second part later ?

But I still didn't entered the mine temple.

You will get the second goat quest after you completed the temple mine and it will involve that cave. Also lots of explosions.:D

Alright. Thank you.

I wouldn't have wondered that much if the level of the quest probe was higher, and the PNJ giving it said "you might have to expore all caves" as the only other one is clearly blocked by something you won't be able to pass without an upgrade.
