When Joern invites Lea to join him and Apollo to go through Gaia's Garden.

Fighting that snail boss with the insane amount of HP was fun, especially after your attack power gets "adjusted" :p

Lea and Shizuka's bonding moment was heartwarming.

I took a screenshot almost every time this came up. Simply the best.

I think my favourite is the moment when Lea nods TWICE in a row when C'Tron asks her in front of Emilie if Lea wanted to play with them again/missed them. Because then even without any guessing it was clear the everything was going towards a happy reunion and it's time to open the feels floodgates, both Lea's and mine. I almost felt her surge of emotions overwhelming her there, that scene is so vivid to me.

When Sergi adds the "why" word to Lea's vocabulary.

Same :D
I wish we could have some kind of event/cutscene viewer to look back at some of these moments.

So many good moments in this gem. But expressions' face of Lea are simply EPIC.

Why ?

The way some sequences where people explain things to you change if you've already done them, or do them while they're still explaining.

Deliberately picking the obvious fake answer in the First Scholars' quiz.

Lea completely losing it at the sight of Lukas' apartment.

Sergey repeatedly messing up the building smash and Lea's reaction to it.

Lea and Emilie making up.

The Trial of Patience. Just in general.

Everything to do with Shizuka from her fight onwards.

The ending of the Henry quest chain.

Lea immediately nodding during the turing test when the old man asks if she thinks he's senile.

The ending in general, but especially Lea's response to Apollo asking how often she lost sight of him in the jungle grass and the goodbyes at the end.

All the AI-related background conversations, etc. throughout the game that you don't think much of on your first playthrough.

The fact that you can realize regular and Evotar Lukas are different people early if you go into the party menu and notice they have different entries and levels.

There's probably more things I really liked that I can't remember right now.

For me, it was definitely breaking through the tower dungeon in the vermillion wasteland. The comedy of his first few failed attempt, followed by the intensity of the chase, as well as the badass instance smashing, just felt so great to me.

And yes, Lea's smug face moments were always great. To be honest, all her facial expressions are amazing, and would make great reaction images.

So Shizuka's writing is actually kind of awkward. She refers to Lea as "it," says she's not real, and tries to destroy her by making her forget everything when they first meet in Vermillion. Yet later on, she suddenly becomes all pro-bot-rights all of a sudden. There doesn't seem to be much character development that would cause her to change so rapidly.

She saw that even tho Lea is a copy of her, she's different in many ways and has her own personality. She couldn't see this before because of her hatred.

It's also important to note that her brother only survived by becoming an Evotar himself, so her issues with Lea are more along the lines of how Lea represents how everything went wrong with her life and got her brother killed, and justifies her actions internally by counting Lea as an inferior copy. Shizuka really is unlikable at that point.

Then the fight happens and you get to prove you're just as good as she is if not better, which is incredibly satisfying, then during the sequence of lectures she learns there's quite a bit she didn't know about Lea's development including how Lea is their ticket out of their situation. Afterwards when she and Lea go out to have a talk she starts off trying to make nice for her brother's sake and manages to form a tenuous bond based off common interests, but finally gets knocked out of the "just a copy" mindset once and for all when Lea does something that Shizuka would never do in a million years which cannot be taken as something inferior.

Battling Shizuka.

Hugging Shizuka.

Battling Apollo.

Hugging Apollo.

Also the raid.

Lea's reaction to getting lifted and tossed around by that tiny girl on the Solar.

Every single major boss fight. Especially Gastropolis (as well as the whole escape sequence around it), the dual bosses at the end of Gaia's Garden, and the final boss.

And finally, pretty much everything involving the first "visit" to Vemillion Wasteland. I just love the area's design for how unexpected and unsettling it is with so much attention to detail to make it work (even the shop npcs manage to be unnerving), as well as how it becomes such a massive turning point for the plot that I just couldn't bring myself to put the game away until I finished that section, late in the night.
