Hmmm, one of the pre-release versions ended in Sapphire Ridge without the Sensei fight, it's still veeeeery roughly around the 3 dungeons back to back, so I technically qualify!

I didn't even get through the three dungeons, I was done after two, since then every time I think of trying to play this game again I think back on that part and basically give up...
Yeah, I can see how one can be oversaturated with dungeons, even when they are shorter than Faj'ro (but so many in rather quick succession). If it's of any comfort to you, the third one is rather short and then you have a rather long stroll through a new area.

i was disapointed by this too. it seems to be cutting the game short. like there should be a whole other area or two for the next two dungeons. but hey nothing lasts forever

I did not stop playing but that was the least fun part of the game. I agree.
Nah, dungeons are the best part! :D
The worst part was the dungeon where you got Wave. It took me forever to figure out how Wave interacted with walls.

Once I figured that out it wasn't too bad, but man, making that connection was obnoxious.

IMO for me it was the slime boss and his forcefield bullsh*t
that game mechanic is NEVER explained once ever and the game expects you to use it the first time you run into it ...
